Find Natural Ways β Launch Plan
The full replication project, specified end to end: what to build, which keywords to target, what content to make, how it makes money, and a day-by-day 20-day launch plan. Source material: the Strategic Health Guides teardown. Educational content only — we are not medical professionals and this is not a medical practice.
The Numbers
Why this wins where she's weak
- Every guide complete. Her catalog is 9/18 half-built. Ours is 4/4 complete at launch.
- SEO from day one. She gets ~0.2 organic visits/month. The channel is uncontested.
- Grounded free coach. Her free lead magnet's coach has zero guide content loaded. Ours has the full text.
- Stripe, not Accept Blue. No PCI exposure, no hand-rolled recurring billing.
Positioning & voice (compliance-safe)
- Brand promise: "normal vs optimal" education — the emotional hook of the entire niche.
- Author voice: evidence researcher, not clinician. Cited studies, "what the research shows," named sources. No invented credentials, ever.
- Every guide ships with disclaimer up front and "Questions for your provider" at the end — the product routes readers to real care.
- Dosing tables report published general ranges with sources — never individualized instructions.
Keyword Analysis
Fresh US demand data (Google Ads via DataForSEO) plus the teardown's keyword set. The read: low ad competition = nobody's paying to be there = cheap entry; high CPC = buyer intent = monetizable. She covers the left column. The right column is our opening.

| Topic | Searches / mo | Ad comp | CPC | Why it's a gem |

| Insomnia | 368,000 | Low (5) | $2.36 | Massive, cheap, and it stacks with cortisol/magnesium content. |
| Vertigo | 450,000 | Low (7) | $0.48 | Enormous underserved demand at rock-bottom CPC. |
| Kidney stones | 368,000 | Low (4) | $1.00 | Prevention/education angle is perfectly ours. |

| Rosacea | 301,000 | Low (17) | $1.31 | Skincare-adjacent, great affiliate upside. |
| Hair loss | 40,500 | Low (33) | $13.87 | Smaller volume but the highest monetization density in the set. |
| Hot flashes | 49,500 | Low (17) | $3.15 | Complements the menopause guide perfectly. |
| Histamine intolerance | 49,500 | Low (18) | $1.04 | Gut-adjacent, trend niche, underserved. |
| Low ferritin | 22,200 | Low (8) | $1.53 | Rising 3× in a year (12K → 40K recent months) — get in before it's crowded. |
| Long covid | 40,500 | Low (7) | $2.52 | Chronic-symptom audience that self-educates heavily. |
| Magnesium glycinate | 1,000,000 | High (100) | $1.69 | Ads are crowded but 1M searches = the SEO prize of the entire list. |
| Berberine | 450,000 | High (100) | $2.28 | "Nature's metformin" — feeds directly into our insulin resistance guide. |
| Ashwagandha | 673,000 | High (97) | $1.09 | Feeds the cortisol guide + supplement affiliate revenue. |
| CoQ10 | 246,000 | High (100) | $2.42 | Supplement-buyer keyword; affiliate monetization direct. |
What To Make
Core The guide system (the product)
Each guide is one long text document — this IS the product and IS the coach's knowledge base. Position it before writing (audience → pain point → quick fix), then hit the quality bar:
- Positioning first: one specific audience, one named pain point, a quick fix in ≤7 days on pages 3–5, a transformation date in the title — title formula: [N]-Day [Quick Fix] for [Audience]
- First page = pain, not research: pain-point headline + subhead ("If you're [audience] and [pain], this gives you [quick fix] in [N] days — and [transformation] in 30"), 2–3 sentence pain story, then the days-ladder spread (Days 1–7 quick relief · 8–30 real change · 31–90 full protocol). The deep research comes after — it justifies the price, it isn't the hook
- 8,000–12,000 words, 7–9 numbered sections
- Protocol tables: general published ranges, cited (name, dose, frequency, notes)
- Self-check symptom list (12–18 items) — doubles as the tracker's data
- Supplement list (5–13 items) — doubles as affiliate plan links
- "Normal vs optimal" lab reframes with actual numbers
- "Questions for your provider" + special situations (children, pregnancy, medications — refer out, always)
- Disclaimer front page + FDA line on supplement claims
Launch set — positioned, not topic-titled (audience · pain · quick fix):
- Free lead magnet — "The 7-Day Energy Reset for Exhausted Working Moms (Who Still Crash at 3pm)": working moms 35–55 · wakes up tired, 3pm crash · stable afternoon in 7 days. Complete and grounded this time (her version's coach has zero content loaded).
- Cortisol — "Sleep Again in 7 Days: The Cortisol Fix for Wired-but-Tired Professionals": always-on professionals 30–55 · 3am wakeups, Sunday-night dread · sleeping through the night in 7 days
- Vitamin D — "The 14-Day Sunshine Fix: Beat Winter Fatigue, Colds & Low Mood": office workers who never see daylight · every winter bug, flat and foggy Nov–Mar · lifting the winter slump in 14 days
- Insulin Resistance — "Flat Blood Sugar in 14 Days: The Prediabetes Reversal Plan": 40+ with new belly fat + "watch it" labs · 3pm sugar crashes · stable all-day energy in 14 days
SEO The supporting page machine
Every guide spawns a cluster of SEO pages targeting long-tail searches she ignores:
- Pillar: "The Complete Guide to Cortisol" → the guide's sales page
- Symptom pages: "High Cortisol Symptoms," "Low Ferritin Symptoms" — end with free-guide CTA
- Comparison pages: "Berberine vs Metformin," "Ashwagandha vs Magnesium for Sleep"
- Lab pages: "What a Ferritin of 15 Really Means" (the normal-vs-optimal hook as SEO)
- Stack pages: "Best Magnesium for Sleep" — pure affiliate monetization
Publish 2–3 per week from day one. This is the channel she left uncontested.
Video YouTube as the second traffic engine
Every guide chapter becomes: 1 long-form video (8–12 min) + 3 Shorts. Faceless production — stock footage, text overlays, voiceover. Scripts come straight from the guide text. See the Video Track below.
Nurture Email challenges
28-day challenge per flagship topic ("28 days to steadier energy") — one action per day, delivered by email. This is her retention machine and it costs nothing to run. Start with a 7-day version, expand winners to 28.
Monetization Ladder
| Revenue line | Price | Role | Live when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free guide + coach trial | $0 | Lead capture — the whole product on trial (30 messages) | Day 20 |
| Single guides | $14.99 | Front-end product; recoups ad spend | Day 20 |
| All-Access membership | $19.99/mo | The annuity. 100 coach messages/month + all trackers + all guides | Day 20 |
| Supplement affiliate plans | 10–30% commission | The profit engine. Curated plan link at the end of every guide (disclosed) | Day 20 |
| YouTube → funnel | Free traffic | Every video description drives the free guide; AdSense is a later bonus, not the model | Day 18 |
| High-ticket tier | $97–$497 | The rung she skipped: educational lab-review walkthrough or group program. Add at ~500 members | Month 3+ |
Revenue math (conservative)
1,000 free guide downloads/month → 3% buy a guide (30 × $14.99 = $450) → 10% of buyers roll to membership (adds ~$60 MRR/month, compounding) → affiliate commissions $200–$400. Blended: ~$700–$900/month at a modest 1,000 leads — and the membership base only grows. At 10,000 leads/month with ads working, the same funnel prints $7–9K/month plus a compounding $2K+/mo membership floor. Membership math: 100 members = $1,999/mo recurring, AI cost ~$50.
Tech Stack
| Layer | Pick | Why | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Domain | findnaturalways.com + CF DNS | Exact-match brandable for the SEO play | ~$12/yr |
| Frontend | Vite + React on Cloudflare Pages | Same shape as the proven model; static hosting = infinitely scalable, zero ops | Free |
| Login | Clerk | Already in the stack; email + password sessions, free to ~10K users | Free |
| Database + backend | Convex | One service for DB, server functions, cron, and file metadata. No servers to run | Free tier |
| AI | One API call per message (GPT-4o-mini class or Claude Haiku) | See below — deliberately dumb | ~$0.003/msg |
| Files (PDFs) | Cloudflare R2 | Guide PDFs + covers; pennies per month | ~$1/mo |
| Payments | Stripe Checkout + Stripe Billing | Subscriptions + recurring with zero PCI exposure (her Accept Blue mistake avoided) | 2.9% + 30¢ on sales |
| GoHighLevel | Already in the stack: sequences, challenges, broadcasts | Existing | |
| Tracking | GA4 + Meta pixel (ViewContent / InitiateCheckout / Purchase) | Wired end-to-end from day one like she does | Free |
The AI Coach (the entire brain)
// convex/coach.ts β this is ALL of it. ~30 lines.
export const sendMessage = action(async (ctx, { userId, guideId, text }) => {
const usage = await getUsage(ctx, userId);
if (usage.used >= usage.limit) throw new Error("Message limit reached β upgrade!");
const guide = await db.get("guides", guideId); // the whole book, one blob
const profile = await db.get("profiles", userId); // personalization
const history = await lastNMessages(ctx, userId, 20); // conversation memory
const reply = await callAI([{ role: "user", content:
`You are an educational health coach. Answer ONLY from the guide below.
Be specific and action-oriented. Never diagnose or prescribe for the
individual. Suggest questions for their doctor when appropriate.
Decline dosing questions for pregnancy and children.
=== GUIDE === ${guide.content}
=== MEMBER PROFILE === ${JSON.stringify(profile)}
=== QUESTION === ${text}` }]);
await saveMessage(ctx, userId, reply);
await bumpUsage(ctx, userId);
return reply;
});
Quality levers, in order: (1) guide content — garbage book = garbage coach; (2) intake profile — personalization is 90% of the "wow"; (3) last 20 messages for memory; (4) system prompt tone. The model choice is the least important lever.
Cost Math
Fixed costs stay near zero: CF Pages free, Convex free tier, Clerk free tier, R2 pennies, domain ~$12/yr. Variable costs are AI usage + Stripe fees on actual sales only. You do not need to pinch pennies on the model — even a smarter model at $0.03/message is $3/month per heavy member. (Model prices approximate — check current pricing before launch.)

Video Track
Format & production
- Long-form (8–12 min): one per guide section — script is the guide text, lightly adapted. Faceless: stock footage + text overlays + voiceover.
- Shorts (30–60s): one "normal vs optimal" hook per video — "Your doctor says your ferritin of 15 is normal. Here's why you're still exhausted."
- Cadence: 1 long + 3 Shorts per week. A single guide yields 6–8 long-form scripts — one guide = 6–8 weeks of content.
- Production is batchable with existing tooling (script pipeline → slides/stock → voiceover → captions).
How videos make money
- Funnel first, AdSense later. Every description links the free guide → coach trial → membership. That's the monetization.
- Affiliate links in descriptions (disclosed) for supplements covered in the video.
- AdSense is a bonus at 1K subs / 4K hours — nice, never the model.
- SEO bonus: YouTube videos rank in Google for the same symptom keywords — two listings instead of one.
Funnel & Emails
| When | Job | |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery + welcome | Immediately | PDF download link + "your coach is ready" with a direct link into the chat |
| The normal-vs-optimal story | Day 1 | The emotional hook, delivered as email — drives the first coach conversation |
| Challenge pitch | Day 3 | "28 days to steadier energy" — one action per day, free |
| Win + social proof | Day 7 | Testimonial-style story (compliant: no outcomes promises) + membership pitch |
| Membership pitch (scarcity) | Day 14 | Founding-member framing, rate locked for life, price closes at cap |
| Daily coach nudge | Every morning | In-app + push/email "today's focus" from their profile — the retention secret |
Compliance Rules
- 1. Educational framing everywhere. Never personalized advice, diagnosis, or treatment. "Educational purposes only, not medical advice" on every surface. You add your final disclaimers before launch.
- 2. No invented credentials. Evidence-researcher voice: cited studies, named sources. Never "in my practice."
- 3. Dosing tables = literature summaries with sources + the footer: "General adult ranges reported in published sources. Not a recommendation — your provider should determine your dose."
- 4. Coach guardrails in the system prompt: never diagnose or prescribe for the individual, decline pregnancy/children dosing, always route to a real clinician, permanent educational-only notice in the chat UI.
- 5. Claims discipline: "studied for" / "supports" (structure-function) — never "treats / cures / prevents" (disease claims). FDA line on supplement claims. FTC disclosure on every affiliate link.
| Instead of | Write |
|---|---|
| "Take 5,000 IU/day" | "Studies in this range have used 5,000 IU/day" |
| "Your ferritin is 15, so take 50 mg" | "Many people in this general range discuss iron protocols with their provider" |
| "This will lower your blood pressure" | "Studied for blood pressure support" |
| "Based on your labs…" | "General protocols in the literature for this range…" |
Testing & KPIs
| Metric | Healthy target | What to do if it misses |
|---|---|---|
| Free guide → coach started | 40%+ | Fix the confirmed page — the chat should auto-open with a starter question |
| Free guide → guide purchase | 2–4% | Test the "normal vs optimal" email angle and price ($9.99 intro vs $14.99) |
| Guide buyer → membership | 8–15% | Move the quota wall — the counter is the paywall, tune where it hits |
| Membership churn | < 8%/mo | Daily nudge quality + guide cadence (new guide every 4–6 weeks) |
| Coach messages / member / mo | 20–40 | Low = the coach isn't hooked into their life. Push profile completion |
| Ad CAC vs first purchase | CAC < first guide price | Kill the ad set at 72h. Only scale winners |
Scaling
- Guide cadence: one new complete guide every 4–6 weeks → catalog parity (18 topics) in ~9 months, but every one complete. Order: magnesium glycinate, insomnia, PCOS, berberine/metabolic, tinnitus, psoriasis — the gem list above.
- SEO compounding: 2–3 symptom/comparison pages per week forever. This is the moat she can't buy.
- Ad scaling: only when CAC < 1× first purchase and LTV:CAC > 3×. The gem list is the ad topic backlog — vertigo at $0.48 and gallbladder at $0.61 CPC are absurd bargains.
- High-ticket rung: at ~500 members add the $97–$497 educational tier (lab-review walkthrough, group program) — 5–10% of buyers take it and it's pure margin.
- Then Level 2: the whole engine becomes the product you sell to practitioners. That's a separate project with its own plan.
